Radio dates back to to 1896 when Guglielmo Marconi was credited with the first radio transmission. Guglielmo Marconi is considered the father of the radio. But radio voice came along in the early 1900s and become popular in the 1920s during the World Wars. The golden age of radio was between the 1930s and the mid-1950s. Radio today is everywhere, where we can listen to our favorite radio shows in the car, websites, and even apps. There are radio shows for everything from pop culture to sports.
