National Technology Day is a day to honor technology achievements throughout time. Where would we be today without the benefits of technology? Technology touches every part of our life, both recreational and professional.

By the early 20th century, technology embraces a growing range of means, processes, and ideas. Popularized items of technological entertainment included a pocket radio, a VCR set, a laserdisc player, a digital watch, an Atari Pong Home Console, a home computer, a camcorder, a compact disc player, Nintendo Entertainment System, digital audio technology, digital satellite system, DVD player, HDTV and DVR.

Today’s technology has advantaged from those items, where we have smartphones, smartwatches, smart television sets, and even smart appliances such as the smart refrigerator.
