An Overview of Electrolux’s Luxury Appliances and Their Features

Shape living for the better.

Electrolux Group purpose

As an experienced vendor of premium appliances, Electronic Express is proud to carry kitchen and laundry appliances from Electrolux. This guide will review the foundations of the Electrolux brand, what sets them apart in the field of luxury appliances, and provide an overview of the unique features of each category of their appliances.

About Electrolux

The brand we know today as Electrolux is just one brand of appliances produced by the Electrolux Group, which owns other brands such as Frigidaire, Kelvinator, Gibson Appliance, and others. What we know as Electrolux was founded in 1919 after a merger of Svenska Elektron AB, Elektromekanistka, and AB Lux; creating AB Elektrolux. Originally, the company focused on producing and selling vacuum cleaners before acquiring additional entities that supported the production of other items including major appliances.

In recent years, the Electrolux Group has increased its efforts on sustainability and social responsibility. So far, the company has pledged several goals to improve its sustainability by 2030. Some of these goals include reducing direct and indirect emissions from energy by 85%, improving their appliance’s energy efficiency, and using recycled plastic in their products.

Thoughtful and Life-Improving Features in Electrolux Appliances

Electrolux appliances are made with many features that use unique names to describe their functions. Appliance Design Styles

Compared to other luxury brands, Electrolux focuses on one design line, instead of multiple, using stainless steel as their main material. Their designs are sleek, modern, and make a great choice for complete appliance packages. However, Electrolux does not offer panel-ready appliances. Therefore, if you want a more customized kitchen design, then consider panel-ready appliances from JennAir, Thermador, or Dacor

While their kitchen appliances are made of stainless steel, Electrolux does offer a selection of colors for their laundry machines and laundry towers.

Something else interesting about Electrolux is that instead of producing several kitchen appliance variations with incrementally better features to fit the price bracket, they generally build all of their features into one model with only a little variation.

Their laundry appliances do come in different series that offer an incremental increase of features. Jump to the Electrolux Laundry Appliances section to read more.
